Program Overview
The first year of training is spent within the Weiss Hospital, Mount Sinai Hospital, West Suburban Hospital and focuses primarily on comprehensive podiatric medicine/surgery and general medicine. The following two years of training primarily consist of podiatric surgery/medicine at multiple affiliated institutions/facilities, and in private practice settings. High exposure to trauma during 2nd/3rd year at Mt Sinai hospital, Holy Cross, West Suburban Hospital, and Weiss Memorial Hospital. The program consists of multiple training institutions and resources that are available for various rotations and research. Due to the number of attendings at this program, the resident will have exposure to a diverse and wide variety of surgical techniques and practice management styles.
