Program Overview

At St. Mary Mercy Hospital, the Podiatric Residency Program (PMSR/RRA) is well integrated into the hospital system. In 2023-2024 the hospital supports Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Emergency Medicine, Podiatry, Transitional, and Psychiatry residency programs. Podiatric surgery is the first and only surgical training program at this facility. With a large volume of Podiatric surgery, orthopedic surgery, vascular surgery, and general surgery the resident will be consistently exposed to surgical volume. On site wound care clinic and Podiatric clinics are noted as well as abundant private practice rotations. Program visitation and / or rotation is strongly recommended.
