Program Overview
Three-year program emphasizing reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, located at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, WA. Well-rounded curriculum offered at large hospital base including total ankles and trauma. Training at a level 1 trauma center (covers 5 states). Supportive alumni provide a highly academic and research-oriented training experience. Program is a 3-year commitment as a PMSR/RRA. Graduates obtain rearfoot privileges. Program and research supported by the International Foot and Ankle Foundation (IFAF) and Waldo Foundation. Opportunity for international experience. Many of our graduating residents are leaders in the podiatric profession. Program has been training top level graduates for over 54 years. Graduates have become leaders in the profession including ACFAS Presidents, Residency Directors, ACFAS Scientific Chairs, ACFAS Test Chairman and Dean of College. 1 week Yucatan Mexico Pediatric Surgery. Pediatric orthopedics and 6 months with Foot and Ankle orthopedist.
