Program Overview
The Podiatric Medicine and Surgery/RRA residency program began at Swedish Covenant Hospital (SCH) in 2012 and is fully accredited by the CPME of the APMA. Residents participate in clinical medical education concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and management of patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. Education will be provided through scheduled lectures, seminars, and conferences devoted to the integration of the basic sciences with the clinical treatment of patients. The educational model used for this Podiatric Medicine and Surgery/RRA residency program is resource based, qualification driven, and assessment validated.
Our program offers three years of postgraduate training and currently takes 2 residents per academic year. While visitation or externship is preferred it is not required. For more information please contact the Residency Program Coordinator, Kathy Jones via email, kjones@schosp.org.
