Program Overview
New PMSR/RRA w/diverse clinical and didactic training residency w/ off-service 1 month med/surg rotations in first 18 months (with linear podiatry clinic & sx), followed by 18 months of exclusively podiatric clinic/office and F&A surgery. Affiliates provide additional podiatric surgery and rotations in diabetes/endocrinology, dermatology and podiatry. Wound care training at the Advanced Wound Care Center. Residents manage their own OPD practice under supervision of attending podiatry faculty. One of only 2 podiatry residencies in central NY. A vehicle is required. St. Elizabeth MC is a private, 201-bed, Level III trauma, acute care hospital, in the Mohawk Valley Health System. New state-of-the-art, 373 bed Wynn Hosp to open October, 2023 – will consolidate services and Depts of 3 area hospitals, incl. SEMC. Longstanding Fam Med & Dental residencies w/ recent Gen Surg, OB/GYN, Psych, Transitional Year, Pharmacy and Emer Med in development.
