Residents attend ACFAS Arthroscopy and Internal Fixation courses. Participation in ACFAS Annual Conference and FPMA State meeting is highly encouraged. Option to participate in international mission trips.

Program Overview
HCA Florida Northwest Hospital (formerly Northwest Medical Center) is a 36-month, PMSR/RRA program. There is a strong emphasis on elective forefoot, hindfoot, and ankle surgery, limb salvage and wound care, lower extremity trauma, and clinical patient management. Residents are expected to have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated, and work cohesively as a team. Two residents are accepted per year, open to all colleges of podiatric medicine. Recent graduates with approximately 2200 procedures. Visits to the hospital are strongly recommended.
