Clinical Experiences
Private Office Rotations, Basic AO course, Ilizarov basic and advanced courses, Ponseti training, advanced wound care ( flaps ), hyperbarics training.
Elective reconstructive forefoot and rearfoot surgery.
Rearfoot and Ankle trauma/surgery with DPM/MD staff Diabetic wound care and limb salvage. Extensive ilizarov external fixation training.

Program Overview
Unique opportunity to train at one of the largest teaching hospital systems in the country. PMSR + CERT program with 4 entry level positions approved. This is a well-rounded three year surgical program in a large 1300 bed facility. Residents will be thoroughly trained in all facets of podiatric medicine and surgery including diabetic wound care, forefoot and rearfoot and ankle reconstructive surgery, trauma, complex ilizarov technique, and limb salvage. The hospital has created an on-site podiatry faculty practice giving the podiatry resident the opportunity to comprehensively treat and follow their surgical and non-surgical patients. Recent additions to our training resources include a Wound Care Center, Orthopedic and Endocrinology rotations. Outside private office rotations available as well. Research participation is mandatory for all residents.
