Program Overview

New PMSR/RRA w/diverse clinical and didactic training residency w/ off-service 1 month med/surg rotations in first 18 months, followed by 18 months of intensive & exclusive podiatric clinic/office and F&A surgery. Affiliates provide additional podiatric surgery and rotations in diabetes/endocrinology, dermatology and podiatry. Wound care training at the Advanced Wound Care Center (local). Residents manage their own OPD practice under supervision of attending podiatry faculty. We are one of only 2 podiatry residencies in central NY. Vehicle is required. Wynn Hospital (main campus) is a new state-of-the-art private, 373-bed, Level III trauma, acute care hospital, in the Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS). Longstanding Fam Med & Dent residencies w/ recent Gen Surg, OB/GYN, Psych, Transit Yr, Pharm residencies. (N.B. Former program name: St. Elizabeth Medical Center)
