Emphasis on hands on experience in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, elective procedures and limb salvage. All common and complex procedures associated with foot & ankle pathology.

Program Overview
Larkin Community hospital surgical residency program strives to provide a well rounded teaching environment for students and residents. Under the leadership of Dr. Francis Wodie, and Dr. Peter Hanna, the PMSR/RRA program at Larkin Community Hospital provides it’s residents with hands on training in up to date techniques of foot and ankle surgery. The program places a strong emphasis on reconstructive foot and ankle surgery with experiences in complex surgical technique such as total ankle replacement, ankle and rearfoot arthrodesis, Flat foot reconstruction, hallux valgus, broad spectrum of soft tissue pathology and diabetic limb salvage. Our residents are integrated closely with all other medical services in the hospital setting including Internal medicine, vascular, orthopedics etc, and are offered a well rounded training experience producing strong and capable physicia
