Clinical Experiences
Program learning center with wet lab fully equipped for forefoot, rearfoot & ankle procedures on cadaveric specimens including arthroscopy. Each resident receives three cadaveric limbs per year.
Heavy surgical volume in forefoot, rearfoot/ankle, orthopedic, general, vascular, and plastic surgery. The program also offers a complete clinical experience.

All residents must have TDLR License, and all required paperwork turned in by the start date. All residents must have valid Texas drivers license.

Program Overview
Program is approved PMSR/RRA.
Program maintains a surgical wet lab that is fully equipped for forefoot, rearfoot & ankle procedures on cadaveric specimens. This includes full arthroscopy capabilities and fluoroscopy. Each resident receives three cadaveric limbs per year to enhance surgical skills, a personal set of surgical instruments. Residents will participate in the clinical case conference webcast which is moderated by faculty. All residents receive memberships to national, state, and local podiatric medical associations as well as ACFAS/ACFOAM. Select residents may have the opportunity to attend microsurgical training and ACFAS learning center courses. The program offers extensive rotations and faculty consists of many ABFAS/ABPOPPM Board Certified podiatrists. Program Library has latest podiatric, orthopedic medicine texts and journals.
