Program Overview
The podiatry staff of Emory is composed of some of the foremost educators in the profession. Residents are exposed to patients with a large diversity of pathologies and approaches to treatment. We cover a large number of trauma cases from two emergency departments. The hospital experience is supplemented with office clinics and a charity clinic which is covered by the residents as well as a wound clinic.
We believe that the quality of the educational experience of this program is reflected in the success of many of our graduates. Numerous graduates of the program have served the profession in a variety of ways, including full time faculty members of some of the colleges of podiatric medicine, leadership roles in state societies, the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
