Program Overview
The Podiatric Residency Training Program at Wake Forest Baptist Health provides the recent graduate with an opportunity to gather extensive experience in the identification and treatment of pathologic and traumatic conditions associated with the pediatric as well as adult foot and ankle. The opportunity to participate in research and exposure to related medical sciences is also afforded to our residents. The teaching program will attempt to demonstrate to the resident an effective method for improving community foot and ankle health and to better prepare the resident for his/her position in the total community healthcare structure. There is a one year non-compete clause included in resident contracts.
