Program Overview

The three year Ascension SE Wisconsin podiatric residency program emphasizes all aspects of podiatric care from basic clinical experiences to advanced reconstructive procedures. Program with PMSR with rearfoot/ankle certification. Minimum surgical numbers are easily met and exceeded in all categories with residents single-scrubbing with attending surgeons. The program is designed to start out first year similar to a typical internship year, focusing on medicine while also starting surgical integration that continues to build throughout one’s residency experience. Learning is hands-on and interactive; learning surgery through doing, not watching. Looking for enthusiastic, highly motivated individuals wanting to excel in the podiatric profession.
