Program Overview

VA Illiana Health Care System in Danville, Illinois offers a 3 year PMSR w/RRA residency program, approved by the Council of Podiatric Education. Resident rotations provide a full scope of medical training in team based interdisciplinary settings. Podiatric surgical training may be provided at Carle Hospital, Christie Clinic, Foot and Ankle Specialists and OSF Hospital System Illinois. All aspects of podiatric surgery including forefoot, midfoot, & rearfoot reconstruction, Charcot reconstruction, foot & ankle trauma, limb salvage and arthroscopy are offered. Competencies are met through training in these diverse facilities. Present courseware and board review courses are also available.
