Program Overview
Ochsner Medical Center is an Independent Academic Medical Center with multiple training programs across many core and specialty programs. The Podiatric clerkship links to Ochsner’s Podiatric accredited Podiatry Residency program. The programs emphasize podiatric surgical competencies, but also provides experience in wound care and limb salvage . Ochsner accepts residents through the designated match process and clerks from accredited Podiatric Medical School. An approved affiliation agreement is required prior to the initiation of any clerkship rotations.
