Program Overview
The Podiatric Surgical Residency program plays a significant role in the overall medical and surgical care within the medical center. It operates two major podiatric surgery clinics, staffs an on-campus wound center with HBO therapy and participates in the ER coverage. Time is also spent with orthopedics, ID and general surgery. Additionally, we are integrated with vascular, endocrine and internal medicine. Bridgeport/YNHH has welcomed a new 106 Bed Hospital Campus in Milford Connecticut bringing the total bed number to 531. Residents also cover surgeries at the Greenwich Hospital campus and its affiliated surgery centers.
