Program Overview
The mission of Eastern Virginia Medical School’s Podiatric Residency is to provide the highest quality of care to patients, while providing the highest caliber of podiatric surgery training and education in an academic and clinical environment. Each resident develops a strong level of competence through the quality involvement of the EVMS faculty. Our program exposes residents to an extraordinarily wide variety of patients and pathologies of the foot and ankle. Comprehensive competencies are presented to our residents for their mastery. Residents are trained in both surgical and academic settings with a diversity of attendings and training resources.
