Hospital Description
NYU Langone Hospitals is a Prestigious learning academic institution comprised of Four Hospitals and three surgical centers. Langone Tisch, NYU Langone Orthopedics Hospital, NYU Langone Kimmel Hospital, NYU Brooklyn, NYU Essex Crossing surgical Center, Brooklyn Surgical centers. All prior residents have met Minimal activity requirements after PGY 2. Podiatry at NYU Langone hospitals has been increasing importance and expanding in the last several years. We have hired many graduates to become attendings at the institution. Reputation at NYU Langone is second to none. NYU orthopedics is always ranked within the top five orthopedic hospitals in the United States. The podiatry department is integrated into the orthopedics department and podiatry residents scrub with World renowned orthopedic surgeons. There are weekly joint conferences with NYU Podiatric and NYU Orthopedic foot and ankle surgeon in which the residents are integrally involved.
Transportation provided between NYC and Brooklyn by NYU ferry.
Internal Medicine, Family Practice, OB/GYN, General Surgery, Dentistry, Orthopedic surgery.
Clinical Experiences
Cadaver workshops and labs are scheduled monthly
Trauma & Diabetic Wound Care. or podiatric and orthopedic foot reconstruction, including Charcot, flatfoot, Cavus foot, all rear foot procedures, Ankle fractures . Residents scrub with world renowned Foot and ankle Surgeons.

Resident Benefits
Educational Stipend: $600 for PGY 3 to be used towards Board Review, $600/year for PGY 1 and PGY 2 for Educational Allowance towards textbooks, etc.

Program Overview
PMSR with RRA approved program that devotes one full year to orthopedic trauma . Level-one trauma center gives our residents exposure to a wide variety of pathology. Each resident scrubs as primary assistant in more than 500 surgical procedures each year.
Podiatry residents scrub cases at NYU Langone Brooklyn, NYU TISH, NYU Orthopedics Hospital, and several NYU Langone Surgical Centers starting in their first year.
Past Residents fulfill all requirements for graduation after Year 2.
Students that perform a clerkship are given priority during the selection process.
