Each resident receives three cadaveric limbs annually to enhance surgical skills and a personal set of surgical instruments. Residents will participate in the clinical case conference webcast moderated by faculty. All residents receive memberships to national, state, and local podiatric medical associations as well as ACFAS/ABPM. Select residents may have the opportunity to attend microsurgical training and ACFAS learning center courses. The program offers extensive rotations, and the faculty consists of many ABFAS/ABPOPPM Board Certified podiatrists. Program Educational Resources has the latest podiatric and orthopedic medicine texts and journals. Many past graduates hold leadership roles in many state and national organizations. This creates a networking opportunity for post-residency employment. The Residency Program offers strong medical and surgical training, and by the end of the 2nd year of Residency, most all Residents have already reached the surgical numbers required.
