Resident Benefits
Residents participate in a wide array of podiatric and medical conditions, working closely with top surgeons. They focus on various aspects of foot and ankle surgery including congenital pediatric foot and ankle conditions, podiatric reconstruction surgery, sports medicine, elective surgery, and minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery. Residents benefit from dedicated academic time on a weekly basis as well hands on wet labs.

Program Overview
PMSR-RR/A [36 month] residency. Rotations are Baltimore VA, Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics, University of Maryland Medical System, Washington DC VA, and Adventist Hospital. Emphasis is on the complete care of a wide range of patients in a variety of facilities. Our program emphasizes hands-on training. Special emphasis includes pediatric congenital foot and ankle correction, minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery, diabetic limb salvage and limb preservation surgery. Successful candidates should be interested in well rounded, technologically advanced training that will prepare them for successful practice in a variety of health care settings and board certification. Our ideal candidate continually improves themselves academically and technically; is self motivated; capable of working independently to achieve a goal and work as part of a team to achieve group goals.
