Program Overview
St Mary’s Medical Center’s three year PMSR/RRA residency is a high intensity program with three entry level positions available for the highly motivated and dedicated student. The first year of training is a true intern year consisting of many off-service rotations to build a strong foundation for management of podiatric patients. The second and third years of training are spent using that knowledge base in a variety of clinical and surgical settings for a comprehensive education. Foot and ankle rotations include private practices, multi-specialty groups, resident-run clinic, surgery centers, community hospitals, large private hospitals, and a level 1 trauma center. Weekly academics, research, and hands-on workshops supplement resident training.
