Program Overview

This program is based at LA Downtown Medical Center (LADMC) and has strong affiliations with Kaiser Fontana & Kaiser South Bay, Keck USC Medical Center and DVA Loma Linda. The first year is spent covering all podiatric and orthopedic surgery at LADMC along with rotations at other area centers including USC and Sherman Oaks Medical Center. The second and third year is spent at Kaiser Fontana & Kaiser South Bay , DVA Loma Linda & other participating institutions including 2 weeks @ Bako Labs in Georgia. Kaiser Fontana is home to one of the largest podiatry departments in Southern California and our residents are one of the primary podiatry residents to rotate there. We are currently the only podiatry resident rotating @ Kaiser South Bay. DVA Loma Linda provides our residents with a great medical experience. Surgical numbers are impressive and far exceed what is required
